Sara-Jane Larner – Director
Dogs and horses are where I spend all my time with and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have always strived to do what I enjoy and used the phrase ‘do what you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life’. I started full time at Doberdayz in 2017 after I’d helped out in daycare in the holidays when I was home from university. I quickly realised that I enjoyed it and even better when I was promoted to manager and was able to run it and get to grips with every aspect of running a business. February 2020 I bought the business and renamed to Canine Countryside Escape.
Lucy – Dog Daycare Assistant & Dog Trainer
I started working in daycare in May 2017, over the last year I have hosted several Chatity events, including a Dog Walk and Pup Quiz.
My Qualifications include a level 3 in animal care, then through Doberdayz and blythwood vets I trained in Canine First aid. But my big leap was last year when I started my path to becoming a trainer by signing up for the pro dog training course, including learning about the behaviours of dogs.

Alison – Dog Walker & Van Driver
I have been in the hairdressing industry since I was 16,and through that I met Sara and her family(aswell as playing darts with Sara’s mum). But something always felt a bit missing. While doing their hair one night, I was told of a vacancy working with the lovely dogs, and I started the following week which was in 2017. I found what I had been missing. I love working with the dogs, even the bad weather hasn’t put me off. We have a great team bond which makes it even more enjoyable working together. Even better I can bring my dog, George, to work with me which has really helped him to socialise more. We got him as a rescue when he was 5 years old. He is now 11 and still loving life. His favourite thing is to play ball and will never give up.
Vicky Neale – Assistant Dog Trainer & Qualified Agility Instructor
Ten years ago Archie, my first dog, joined my family. After trying several different trainers I found Doberdayz Dog Training School and have been coming here ever since. Indi came along Seven years ago and we are currently working on our platinum award. I have explored lots of different dog sports over the years but have found my true love lies with clicker, trick and heel work to music and more recently Rally O. Indi is the first border terrier ‘Trick Dog – Champion’. Here is her video. We are currently in training to compete at Heelwork to Music events, Agility & Rally. I hold Click & Trick Workshops for Doberdayz.
